That's why we're inviting parents, guardians, and the wider Marabella community to our upcoming Open House — a chance to meet us, ask questions, and discover what makes our approach to learning different.

Whether your child is just starting their learning journey or you're looking for more meaningful, supportive ways to help them build confidence and independence, this Open House is for you. We'll be sharing more about our programmes for children ages 3 to 12, our approach to literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking, and how we work alongside parents — not just students — to build stronger learning habits at home.

Why Do We Do This
The Desha Academy was founded by Candace Francis, an educator with over 24 years of experience, with one goal in mind: to help children build confidence, strengthen understanding, and develop independent learning habits that last well beyond the classroom years. For us, it has never simply been about passing exams but about helping children feel capable and, helping parents realize they don't have to navigate learning challenges alone.
This Open House is an extension of that mission: an open, welcoming space to have real conversations about your child's learning before you commit to anything.
